Mr. Anthony Korsi Zonyrah's love for music is positively contagious. He is a veteran of the Ghana National Symphony Orchestra and the Accra Symphony Orchestra. Armed with a wealth of music performing experience, he brings a lot to his cello students while inspiring them to work hard on their music.
Mr. Zonyrah studied under Francis Quain (the principal cellist) at the National Symphony Orchestra and Geoffrey Amoah at the University of Ghana from 2005 to 2007. He is one of the founding members of the Accra Symphony Orchestra (founded by Dr. Mensah Otabil) in 2014. He is also the Choral Director at Fountain Gate Chapel.
His performance credits include a Welcoming Ceremony for President Atta-Mills at the Flagstaff House (Accra, Ghana) and an Orchestral Presentation at the Palais de Congress (Lome, Togo). He has participated in various residential and national programmes not just at the Flagstaff House but also at Castel, Holy Spirit Cathedral, and Action Chapel.
Prior to launching his music career on a full-time basis, he worked in the Accounts Department of the Psychiatry Hospital (Accra). Besides his musical education, he has a background in Business-Accounting. Interestingly enough, it is music that makes him more organized, creative and focused.
